The Cougar Club is an Aspen Mountain Press romance series that’s focused around an Internet chat group. The group was created by two friends, Katherine Holland (Internet handle…Cublover) and Monique Longet (Internet handle…Bosscougar), to discuss dating and establishing relationships between older women and younger men. Monique, especially, has a lot of experience in the area and, after Katherine’s exposure to younger men, they decide a chat room would be a great place for others to learn and share their experiences, fun, and fears. It contains tips on where to meet younger men, how to attract them, and the pros and cons of such relationships.

The Cougar club books will range from humorous to more serious and contain heat ranging from spicy to sizzling. The heroines of these books will join the Cougar Club for tips on how to handle the relationship or advise other members of the group based on their own experiences.





Author Bios

Award winning author, Lizzie T. Leaf is known for her ‘humor with heat.’ She has numerous e-books in varying lengths and her print book, Struck by Lightning, won the 2007 Beacon award for Erotic Romance and tied for Best First Novel, in addition to being a finalist in Author Island’s Reader’s Choice Award and Colorado Romance Writer’s Award of Excellence. Her Novella, Dead Faint was a 2008 LRC Best Vampire finalist.

Lizzie created the hot series for Aspen Mountain Press that centers around older women/younger men. Barely Legal, the first book in the “Cougar Club” series released January 2009.

When not chained to the computer keyboard, Lizzie enjoys time with her family, reading other authors and traveling with her husband.

Helen Hardt has been writing stories since the first grade, when her aspiring writer father encouraged her and gave her a small metal file cabinet with "Helen's Story Box" written on it in permanent marker. She began her first novel, a young adult romance, in the eighth grade. Helen stopped writing to attend college and law school. She married her law school sweetheart and settled in Colorado to raise a family. Recently, she decided to get back to writing. After completing a young adult fantasy fiction manuscript, she needed a fun read for a plane ride, so she picked up a romance (Nora Roberts' Morrigan's Cross) for the first time in ten years. She got hooked all over again and decided to give romance writing a try. She have completed several romance manuscripts, and also works as an editor for a small press.

Helen is a member of Romance Writers of America and Colorado Romance Writers.
Helen’s non-writing interests include Harley rides with her husband, traveling, attending her sons' sports and music performances, and taekwondo (She’s a first degree blackbelt!).
